COLORADO – NEW BACKFLOW TESTING REQUIREMENTS GO INTO EFFECT JULY 1ST, 2024

    A new law will go into effect on July 1st, 2024 that will require backflow installation, removal, inspection, testing and repairs to be performed by a license plumber. This a huge change as it will cost stations owners nearly 3x the amount as well as dramatically hurt the companies our members use to do this work. We are working with other stakeholders and the Governor’s office to try and address this issue. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to our office.
