The Wyoming Department of Transportation wants to remind residents and travelers about the Wyoming Travel Authorization Program (W-TAP) ahead of the 2021-2022 winter season. WYDOT recommends any new or current users to apply or update information before winter arrives. Application processing may take extra time during a winter storm. New and returning users can apply for travel authorization on the W-TAP website.

Petroleum transporters will need to designate the routes they wish to obtain winter travel authorization and then state the reason for such request ... e.g. select "Other" in the drop choices and state you will be picking up or delivering petroleum products between the selected points.
Marketers are reminded that waiting until there is inclement weather and rolling closures are occurring is TOO LATE to receive a winter travel authorization allowance code from WYDOT.
