CWPMA – Note

The Colorado state patrol issued a HOS waiver for Natural Gas Heating Oil and Propane (LPG) that mirrors the attached regional waiver effective to Feb. 6^th.  CWPMA was contacted by our national association on this and we hadn’t heard of any supply shortages in our market relative to LPG in Colorado.  (We did ask for Wyoming to be included) Colorado or Wyoming doesn’t have a significant amount of Heating Oil.

Importantly, the waiver is targeted at home heating so natural gas haulers or distribution companies should be careful relative to utilization of the exemption.

The Colorado Propane Gas Association is responsible for the waiver and we appreciate their work in securing it for the companies that need it.
