Our Partners at Free wire which is a battery storage solution put together this flyer for folks who are interested in the next round of EV charging grants for Colorado.
We are helping to do this as a way to get folks that are interested in E.V. Charging for whatever reason which may include for example:
- Requirements for building codes
- Possible future Carbon/LCFS credits discussions for the generation of credits,
- ESG purposes
Wyoming is considering legislation relative to Charging stations and both states have taken steps relative to the NEVI programs- I am pretty excited about this as this company specializes in battery storage and is a way to avoid peak demand charging issues which really is a tough hurdle relative to level 3 charging.
It will fund $70,000 per DCFC and could be a good way for members to get a pilot site(s) funded and as it's not as much of a lift as NEVI. https://energyoffice.colorado.
