    The FDA has announced a Hand Sanitizer Recall, because of some ingredients that may contain methanol.  

    The news media has been announcing this today, and in some cases, making it quite confusing.

    Hand Sanitizer Recall

    FDA has released a list of hand sanitizer products that are being recalled because they may contain methanol, a substance that can be toxic when absorbed through the skin and life-threatening if ingested for any reason.
