Colorado - CDPHE Announces Selections for New Clean Vehicle Grant Programs

CDPHE announces selections for two clean vehicle grant programs to protect clean air

CDPHE is announcing the first-ever round of selected projects for two new clean vehicle grant programs, which offer funding for low- and zero-emission vehicles. The grant programs are important because traditional vehicles that run on gas generate harmful air pollution emissions. The programs will reimburse tens of millions of dollars total in the coming years.

CDPHE’s Air Pollution Control Division selected projects for the Colorado Electric School Bus Grant Program. It offers funding for electric school buses or other zero-emission vehicles to transport kids.

CDPHE’s Clean Fleet Enterprise Board selected projects for the Clean Fleet Vehicle and Technology Grant Program. It offers funding for low-or zero-emission vehicles for use in fleet operations

CDPHE intends to reopen both vehicle grant programs over the next decade as funding allows. If they haven’t done so already, interested parties can subscribe for Colorado Electric School Bus Grant Program email updates or Clean Fleet Vehicle and Technology Grant Program email updates
