The Air Pollution Control Division published a supplemental form for oil and gas pre-production and early production operations air quality monitoring. In December 2021, the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission adopted a new requirement for the monthly air monitoring data reports filed by oil and gas well pads, to further align data collection and understanding between the LDAR program and the oil and gas fenceline pre/early monitoring program. This additional reporting requirement will affect the May 2023 reports filed by June 30, 2023. Operators will now need to list the components where emissions were detected during the LDAR inspection.
VI.C.2.b.(x) Beginning May 2023, a list of leaking components requiring repair and the monitoring method(s) used to determine the presence of the leak pursuant to Section II.E.
