Our friends at NATSO recently published in "The Truck Stops Here" blog, an article on how travel centers...and presumably petroleum marketers, can take advantage of the recently reinstated $1 biodiesel tax credit. The article discusses the biodiesel tax credit that was not only reinstated for 2018 and 2019, but also put in place for 2020, 2021 and 2022 and how a marketer can become a "qualified blender". The article (attached) is chock full of information and resources for retailers who are considering taking advantage of the biodiesel tax credit. As the article appropriately states, "It [recent legislation] marked an enormous victory for not only the travel center industry, but also for the environment and America's truck drivers and consumers."
