Thank you for participating in the rulemaking process. Your comments and feedback were valuable in this process. The Department will now proceed with the next rulemaking step which is to schedule a public hearing. This public hearing gives the interested parties the opportunity to file written comments, written data, views, or arguments regarding the new rules with the commissioner's office prior to the hearing. You may also present your comments in person at this hearing.
The hearing is scheduled for May 31, 2022, at 2:00 pm via Zoom. A copy of the official Notice of Public Rulemaking Hearing is attached.
You can view any upcoming hearings and the proposed rules on the Department of Agriculture website at www.ag.colorado.gov . Select the "Commissioner's Office" then "Rule Hearings & Draft Rule Proposals" link. This will cover any board/commission that has rulemaking authority within the Department of Agriculture. This page is updated by the time the notices are published in the Colorado Register (the 10th and 25th of each month) if not earlier.
If accessing the proposed rule online does not satisfy your request please notify me by return email or at the telephone number listed below and a hard copy of the proposal will be sent through the US Postal Service. At this time there will be no charge for mailing copies of the proposed rules, however, that may change in the future and you would be notified of such charges at the time a hard copy request is received.
