The WYDOT Statewide Freight Assessment Stakeholder Group is updating the Statewide Freight Assessment Plan and is requesting input for highway users and freight-mobility--intensive industries. This project is expected to revise the current plan and amendments consistent with the existing Wyoming Long Range Transportation Plan, the Wyoming State Rail Plan, the Wyoming Connects Corridor Vision documents, the WYDOT Noise Policy, and other pertinent planning and economic development documents. The Freight Assessment Plan should also be consistent with the WYDOT Mission, Vision and Goals and the State of Wyoming's economic development vision; be compliant with all applicable State and Federal requirements (MAP-21, Homeland Security, etc.); provide proper consideration for stakeholders; and seek to improve the economic competitiveness of the State of Wyoming.
An interactive online comment map is available for input from any Wyoming entity interested in participating in the Plan update. WYDOT strongly encourages all Wyoming citizens to identify current issues and proposed projects on the map, and to share the map with your networks. Citizens are also more than welcome to submit comments by responding to this email.
