CWPMA is a trade association. Our entire mission in life is to provide timely, substantive and beneficial events for our members. Some events are focused on networking, some are for charity, and some are focused on education and/or forming policy. Some meetings are administrative for maintaining of our 501(C)6 non profit status. Below is a list of up and coming meetings CWPMA has scheduled.

2013 CWPMA Conference and Trade Show

Fresh on the heels of a very successful Spring Event, CWPMA announced that the Association Networking Committee has committed to and the property has been booked for the CWPMA 2013 Conference and Trade Show on September 17, 2013 at the Embassy Suites Spa, Hotel and Convention Center in Loveland, CO. This very nice, new hotel and convention center is conveniently located on I-25 and Crossroads Blvd. (Exit 259).  

 The Conference & Trade Show will be kicked off by three seminars. One seminar will focus on handling workers compensation safety programs to enhance employee safety while helping to keep the businesses premium and loss ratios manageable. There will also be a fact paced and very informative presentation by Mark Norek, Convenience Store Consultant, on connecting the dots between signage, pricing and getting customers in your stores. Finally, there will be ‘Association – Paradigmatized’ presentation by Grier Bailey and Mark Larson. This update will get members up to speed on the many changes that the Association has undergone and what to look for in the future.

 At Noon, the Trade Show will open for a four hour event that will feature all of the services, products and offerings the many excellent Associate members and some nonmembers have to offer marketers and retailers. The Trade Show will have 70-plus 10x10 booths for marketers and retailers to peruse and enjoy. Naturally, there will be specials, food vendors, give-away items, drawings and a host of other fun. Two bars will be conveniently located to quench the thirst of participants. Associate members should register their booths now!

 After the Trade Show will be a two hour Networking break for members to catch up with old friends, make new ones or just kick back in the spa and hotel. At 6:00 p.m., the President’s Reception will take place for an hour of libations and hor 'd'oeuvres.  Then attendees will be treated to a scrumptious meal at the dinner. Following the dinner will be Duel Piano’s entertainment. Members that attended the Convention and Trade Show in Jackson in 2010 will recall Kurt Garrett and his partner providing a delightful evening of song, libations and a few spontaneous dance renditions. It promises to be a delightful day and we hope you will make plans to attend NOW!

 It is anticipated that brand meetings or other forms of networking and meetings will take place the following morning
